About Biomotion London

Our Mission

Our mission is simple – to help every individual move with purpose, confidence, and freedom. Whether you’re an elite athlete chasing performance or someone rebuilding strength after a sports injury, we’re here to push your boundaries, challenge what’s possible, and unlock your body’s full potential.

We don’t just treat movement – we inspire it. Through cutting-edge technology, expertise, and a deeply personal approach, we empower you to achieve lasting results and take control of your performance, health, and wellbeing. Our goal is to help you not only move better, but live better – every single day.

Why Choose Biomotion London?

At Biomotion, we believe healthy movement begins with a strong foundation.

Whether you’re a recreational golfer, an active person with a sports injury, or an elite athlete, the way your lower limbs function has a profound effect on your overall movement, performance, and risk of injury.

How We Can Help

01

Advanced gait and biomechanical analysis

We use detailed gait analysis and cutting-edge assessment techniques to understand how your lower limbs move under load. This allows us to identify the root causes of pain, imbalance, or inefficiency—rather than just treating the symptoms.

02

Tailored treatment plans

Each plan is designed around your unique movement patterns. From strengthening and rehabilitation strategies to footwear guidance, orthotic therapy, and gait retraining, our goal is to restore natural, efficient movement and long-term resilience.

03

For all levels of activity

We support everyone—from those recovering from sports injury or struggling with everyday discomfort, to athletes and dancers aiming to refine performance and prevent re-injury. Our focus is always on getting you back to doing what you love, pain-free and with confidence.

04

Rooted in science, built for real life

Our approach is evidence-based and practical, combining clinical expertise with the latest research in biomechanics. By focusing on the lower limbs as the foundation of movement, we help you achieve lasting results in both health and performance.

Sophia Taglia

BSc Podiatric Medicine, MSc Sports & Exercise Medicine

Sophia specialises in gait analysis, lower limb biomechanics, and injury prevention. She has carried out in-depth research on ground reaction forces in ballet dancers at the English National Ballet School, exploring how movement patterns influence both performance and the risk of injury. Her skills allow her to pinpoint the underlying causes of musculoskeletal issues in the feet and lower limbs, delivering solutions and advice tailored to each person’s needs.

Whether you’re an elite athlete aiming to optimise performance, a dancer working to prevent injuries, or someone simply wanting to walk and move pain free, Sophia’s mission is to help everyone regain confidence in their movement and get back to doing what they love.
